Cristiano Ronaldo looks set for a record goals bonanza at Euro 2016 and here's why...
Ex-England aces Michael Owen and Sol Campbell expect the Portugal striker to make the most of the cushiest group at the tournament
The duo are tipping the Real Madrid ace to make the most of playing against the inexperienced defenders of Iceland and Hungary.
And they they believe he could be a shoe-in for the Golden Boot before the knockout stages even kick off.
Owen, who scored 40 goals for England in 89 appearances, said: "Group F is probably the weakest of the six I’d say with Portugal the standout team so let’s start with them and you can’t talk about Portugal without talking about Ronaldo. He’s a special player and his reputation as the finest player in the tournament is well-deserved.
"But there’s more to Portugal than CR7. They’ve got Bayern Munich’s new starlet Renato Sanches. He’s an attacking midfielder and if the opposition is too distracted with Ronaldo they might get hurt by this guy but there’s little doubt that if Portugal are to win this tournament they will need the Real Madrid forward to bang the goals in for them.”
He, Sol Campbell and Danny Mills have joined forces to give their expert predictions ahead of this summer's finals in France.
Campbell echoed Owen's belief that Ronaldo will come good against the softer sides. He said: “At 31, this could well be Ronaldo’s last European Championship and he won’t want to go out with a whimper.

Danny Mills agrees with his former teammates that Portugal will progress - but he doesn't think it will be all plain sailing.
“Group F is surely as straight-forward a group as Portugal could’ve hoped for. Of course football doesn’t always stay true to form but Portugal will only have themselves to blame if they fail to qualify, particularly with the added qualification places to four third-placed teams.
"Gylfi Sigurdsson is vital to Iceland’s tournament, he scored bags of goals in qualifying but I’m not sure they’ll have the quality to trouble Portugal and Austria at the top of Group F.”
