Arsenal blew champions Leicester out of the water in the Premier League TV money table
Arsenal collected more Premier League prize money than Leicester this season - despite the Foxes' title-winning heroics.
The Gunners pocketed a mammoth £101million from TV and commercial earnings from the campaign, bettering the £93.2million that was given to the champions.
Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United all also picked up more than Leicester, an official Premier League statement has confirmed.
Leicester banked a cool £25million for finishing first in the table, while Arsenal received £23.6million for finishing second. Tottenham netted £22.4million after tumbling down to third due to their final day thrashing at the hands of Newcastle.

Leicester completed an unlikely Premier League title win earlier this month
Each of the 20 Premier League teams banked an equal share of £21,924,800 in UK broadcast revenue as well as £29,415,848 in overseas broadcast revenue. All teams also received £4,509,152 in central commercial revenue.
The only variables in income from the Premier League are facility fees, which are received each time a team has a match shown live on TV, and merit payments, which are dependent on which league position a team finishes the season in.
Teams receive around £800,000 per game of theirs which is broadcast live on television.

TV revenue pocketed Arsenal over £100million this season
With 27 top flight games screened live on TV as opposed to Leicester's 15, Arsenal scooped almost double the amount of income from that stream.
Arsenal took home £21.5million in facility fees - a Premier League high - while the Foxes netted just £12.5million.
However, the inflation next year due to the new TV deal means Arsenal will take home just over £150million if they have the same amount of their matches shown broadcast live.
