Middlesbrough are in talks over a £3.8million deal for Ajax winger Viktor Fischer.
The 21-year-old was once coveted by Manchester United and Arsenal but had a troublesome hamstring injury which ruled him out for 15 months.
He returned last season however to score 10 goals and has won eight caps for Denmark.

Fischer was taken out of international training camp to head to Middlesbrough for talks with his agent Soren Lerby.
Middlesbrough also remain hopeful of agreeing terms with Uruguay international Gaston Ramirez after offering him a permanent contract.
Ramirez impressed while on loan from Southampton but is now out of contract and also has offers from Torino, Bologna and clubs in South America.
He scored seven goals in 18 appearances to help Boro seal promotion back to the top flight.
