Former Barcelona and Spain midfielder Xavi is backing incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola to leave his mark on the Premier League.
The Spaniard takes over from the departing Etihad chief Manuel Pellegrini on July 1 to continue an exciting summer in Manchester and renew hostilities with rival Jose Mourinho.
Guardiola won 21 trophies in his time in charge of Barcelona and Bayern Munich and has been hired by City in the hope that he can lead them to a first Champions League title.

Xavi knows all about the impact Guardiola can have on a team, having played under renowned coach at Barcelona. As such, the 36-year-old is sure Guardiola will make waves in England.
